Blood that flows from bodies that are redrawn over and over again, are copied from each other to reappear.
As soon as we enter through the Gothic looking for the Romanesque, the bread that bleeds catches our attention. It looks like a giant coin, coming out of a woman's throat, or cutting her neck. It is too early in the history of the image to know today if it enters or leaves its body and feels like it has been in between forever.
Transmutation: bread that bleeds shows that it is flesh because it bleeds. Just like the body that bleeds.
